Mike Tyson has officially reacted to Jake Paul’s $5 million wager for their much-anticipated fight, but the reply is not quite what Paul was hoping for.
Following the announcement of their rescheduled matchup, both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have been busy generating excitement. While there is a fair share of doubt about Tyson’s physical condition due to his age, the buzz surrounding the event is undeniable.
Jake has made it clear that he will only face Tyson and has no intention of bringing in an alternate opponent. With Netflix backing the event and its location at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, both fighters are in for significant earnings.
Eager to add some extra incentive, the ‘Problem Child’ proposed that Tyson could earn an additional $5 million. “Mikey, Mikey, if you can survive more than four rounds with me, I’ll hand you an extra $5 million,” he declared in a TikTok video on October 8.
Despite Jake’s claims that Tyson was disregarding his offer, ‘Iron’ Mike has finally responded.
“He should be offering more,” Tyson stated in an interview with USA TODAY Sports. “Tell him to make it about 20 (million).”

If Tyson were to take up the wager and lose, he would be obligated to get a tattoo that reads ‘I love Jake Paul,’ which explains why he desires a higher amount.
On the subject of their fighting strategies, Tyson shared that he’s feeling confident. “I don’t anticipate him coming straight at me, so I’ll need to catch him over the course of a few rounds,” he mentioned in his conversation with USA Today Sports.
Jake, on the other hand, plans to ‘frustrate’ the boxing icon. “I want to box from the outside and utilize my footwork to remain agile while getting him to chase me,” he explained to the Hollywood Reporter.
