Min Hee-jin: Bang Si-hyuk Accused of Plagiarism in Creating BTS

Insiders in the music industry have revealed that HYBE has uncovered 3 internal documents from ADOR.

The document dated on the 23rd contained a section outlining strategies for attracting external investors, along with a statement regarding “How to get HYBE to sell”. This could be interpreted as a potential attempt to pressure HYBE into selling their 80% stake in ADOR.

Goals such as “ultimate escape”(from HYBE) and “No one can touch us”were written on a document dated the 29th.

“According to a source in the music industry, this document outlines a strategy to gather diverse items through this approach, address concerns, exert influence on (HYBE), and eventually achieve independence.”

During their audit on ADOR, HYBE also came across the final document which contained citations of Min Hee-jin claiming that “Chairman Bang Si-hyuk copied me to create BTS.”

It appears that in addition to her accusation against ILLIT for copying NewJeans, Min Hee-jin also accused BTS of plagiarizing her works.

There is a belief that the disagreement between Min Hee-jin and HYBE is due in part to a difference in their opinions regarding the appropriate level of compensation based on the success of NewJeans.

A source within the music industry stated that CEO Min had reportedly requested a significantly higher amount of compensation, which was more than double the original amount, at the end of last year. However, HYBE declined the request as it was unable to accommodate such a large sum.

The source of the information is LSB, as reported by Hankyung.
