At her press conference, Min Hee Jin conveyed her desire to mend her relationship with HYBE after their complicated legal dispute.
At the Korea Press Center in Seoul, on the afternoon of May 31, 2024, Min Hee Jin delivered a message to HYBE during the press conference about the ADOR emergency shareholder meeting.
In her statement, she conveyed her desire to repair the relationship with HYBE by stating, “I hope HYBE recognizes our diligent and successful execution of all planned tasks with NewJeans. I also hope for an opportunity to share my perspective and reach a mutual understanding with HYBE.”
The CEO expressed her frequent contemplation over the reason for their ongoing conflict, acknowledging the draining nature of constantly engaging in destructive behavior towards one another.
She expressed, “I frequently ponder over the purpose and purpose of our dispute. Are we not drained from constantly attacking and belittling one another? The root and reality of problems cannot be fully conveyed in a few words or articles. Human connections are intricate and challenging, therefore they cannot be simplified.”
Min Hee Jin shared her desire to collaborate with HYBE in a manner that benefits all parties involved, while also remaining true to the company’s goals. She hopes that any individual sentiments can be set aside in order to work towards the greater good for everyone.
The speaker emphasizes the importance of maintaining a constructive and open-minded approach when discussing matters of public interest. She believes that a corporation should prioritize the well-being of its shareholders and overall business vision. She stresses the need to set aside personal feelings and work towards the benefit of everyone involved. This, she argues, is the proper mindset of a manager and the morally right thing to do as a human being.
The ADOR CEO clarified that she is not pursuing this for her personal benefit, but rather for the benefit of all parties involved. She recognized that both sides have experienced emotional pain and expressed her intention to bring an end to the suffering and transition to the next phase with HYBE.
She insists, “My priority is not personal gain. I am determined to carry out the plans I have made with NewJeans, which would benefit us all. Who stands to gain if I resign and NewJeans is forced to pause due to organizational changes? Let us approach this rationally. Both parties have been emotionally wounded. It is time to put an end to this and move on to the next stage that is advantageous for everyone.”
