Prior to the May 24th release of their double single “How Sweet,”NewJeans has been consistently sharing new content. In March, ADOR announced that the group would be releasing double singles in both Korea and Japan in May and June, in addition to their highly anticipated Japan debut. Following these releases, the girls will also be hosting a fanmeeting at Tokyo Dome. As part of their comeback schedule, the music video for “Bubble Gum”has already garnered over 17 million views within just 4 days.

Despite NewJeans’ ongoing comeback efforts, the tension between ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin and its parent company HYBE is escalating. In a recent development, HYBE launched an investigation and lodged a formal complaint against Min Hee-jin for alleged breach of trust, accusing her of trying to gain control of ADOR’s management.

Despite Min Hee-jin holding an emergency press conference to deny all accusations and bring attention to HYBE’s issues, the company has filed for court approval to hold a shareholders’ meeting with the intention of removing Min Hee-jin from the board of directors. Additionally, ADOR’s legal representative stated that a board meeting will take place by May 10th and the shareholders’ meeting is expected to occur at the end of May, sparking curiosity about the topics to be discussed at these gatherings.
