In a shocking turn of events, Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, disclosed a deeply unsettling experience where she was followed by a vehicle, posing a significant threat. During her appearance on School of Music, she elaborated on this distressing incident.
“Not too long ago, I became aware that someone was tailing me,” she recounted. “The taxi driver alerted me to the situation. A car was shadowing us relentlessly, refusing to let up. I attempted to alter my route in hopes of losing them, but they kept pursuing me.”
Despite her attempts to evade her pursuer, Min Hee Jin revealed that the vehicle trailed her all the way to her residence. “The driver informed me that this car had been following us right to my doorstep. Instead of exiting at my intended stop, I requested to be dropped off at a different location,” she stated.
The tension heightened when she confronted the person who had been stalking her. “The driver even identified the model of the car,” she continued. “The individual got out of their vehicle, prompting me to yell, ‘Hey!’ before I swiftly called the authorities. They were indeed apprehended shortly thereafter.”
Furthermore, Min Hee Jin disclosed that she has faced death threats. Nonetheless, she expressed her determination by stating, “I don’t believe it’s my time just yet.”
In related news, on the 29th, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50, led by Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon, rejected Min Hee Jin’s petition for an injunction aimed at restoring her position as CEO of ADOR against HYBE. She had sought reinstatement ahead of an upcoming board meeting at ADOR, but the court deemed her application “invalid due to insufficient interest.”
Following this ruling, Min’s legal team from the law firm Sejong stated, “The court did not adjudicate the legitimacy of the shareholders’ agreement” and asserted that “the agreement between HYBE and Min Hee Jin remains in effect.”
Additionally, Min’s representatives pointed out, “Should HYBE and the ADOR directors chosen by HYBE neglect to reinstate Min as CEO in contravention of the shareholders’ agreement, we will seriously contemplate exercising our rights due to HYBE’s breach.”
This hints at potential legal proceedings against HYBE concerning the shareholders’ agreement, implying that the ongoing tensions between Min Hee Jin, an internal director at ADOR, and HYBE are set to linger for the near future.
