On May 31st, CEO Min Hee-jin held a second emergency press conference at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. This press conference follows her initial one on April 25th.
In contrast to her appearance at the first press conference, Min Hee-jin arrived looking neat this time. Dressed in a yellow cardigan, the female CEO exuded a vibrant energy as soon as she entered.
The cardigan worn by Min Hee-jin is a 2022 F/W item from the Japanese brand Perverze, priced at 550,000 won. It is currently almost sold out, with only a few overseas websites offering it at a slightly reduced price of around 500,000 won.
At the first press conference, Min Hee-jin’s fashion also caught the attention of many, with her choice of a blue cap and an oversized striped t-shirt. Following the event, all the products she wore were quickly sold out.
Min Hee-jin explained that she had been unable to change her clothes or wash her face for three days, so she had no other option but to wear a cap on that day.
On the 30th, one day prior to Min Hee-jin’s press conference, the court granted her injunction request to prevent HYBE from exercising their voting rights. This decision allows Min Hee-jin to retain her role as the CEO of ADOR.
Furthermore, a shareholders’ meeting was convened just prior to the press conference. HYBE made the decision to replace Shin and Kim, who were previously directors at ADOR and had a close relationship with CEO Min Hee-jin, with HYBE executives such as CHRO Kim Joo-young, CSO Lee Jae-sang, and CFO Lee Kyung-joon.
