Despite the ongoing HYBE x ADOR drama, K-pop fans continue to voice their frustration as a new rumor emerges, alleging that Min Hee Jin was the cause of Youngseo’s departure from ILLIT prior to their official debut.

The tension between ADOR and its parent company, HYBE, escalated on April 22, when HYBE called for an urgent meeting and conducted an audit of their affiliated company.
There have been allegations that CEO Min Hee Jin and other executives were attempting to separate from the main headquarters.
According to reports, Founder Bang Si Hyuk had requested for Min to step down from her position, but NewJeans’ “mother”refused and claimed it was merely a publicity stunt.
According to the report, ADOR has been actively pursuing their independence agenda since the beginning of the year and has been in discussions with potential investors to facilitate the sale of the company.
During the proceedings, confidential contracts between ADOR and HYBE were exposed. In order to put pressure on the parent company, Min Hee Jin’s team also covertly spread negative sentiments about HYBE’s artists and persuaded their parents. This involved revealing personal information, photos, and medical records before their debut.

Did Min Hee Jin Cause Youngseo to Leave ILLIT Before Debut?

ILLIT was created by a collaboration between HYBE and Belift Lab during JTBC’s audition program, “R U Next?”. Therefore, when Min Hee Jin expressed disapproval towards ILLIT, K-pop fans speculated that the CEO may have had involvement in the matter, especially considering Youngseo’s past involvement in NewJeans’ pre-debut team.
Fans are also speculating if Min was responsible for the rumor between Youngseo and RIIZE Seunghan’s supposed private video call, which ultimately led to the male idol’s suspension from his group. Additionally, there is speculation that this rumor may have also resulted in the female trainee being “kicked out”of ILLIT. This speculation has been fueled by the fact that Youngseo’s personal details were leaked.
