On April 25, Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR, the agency of NewJeans, held a press conference to discuss the numerous accusations surrounding the ongoing dispute between ADOR and HYBE.
Min Hee-jin revealed a range of text messages between her and HYBE CEO Bang Si-hyuk, as well as conversations with the parents of NewJeans members.
Despite HYBE’s dishonesty, she maintained her innocence and shared that the NewJeans members reached out to her at night, offering comfort.
Despite Min Hee-jin’s claims at the press conference, a HYBE employee took to Blind, a Korean platform for verified office workers, to refute the CEO’s statements and accuse them of lying.
The employee specifically stated that the press conference was a concern. They accused the speaker of falsifying information, manipulating timestamps, and distorting the truth to fit their own agenda. They also added that the speaker was essentially creating a fictional story based on their own desires.
Within less than an hour, the post has already been reposted on the Korean forum “theqoo”and has gained over 40,000 views.
