Despite the rumors at the time, Plum A&C, the agency representing her, denied the claims and clarified that it was simply a misunderstanding caused by the way her clothes were folded, thus confirming that she was not expecting a child.

In February 2018, Min Hyo-rin tied the knot with BIGBANG’s Taeyang. Just a month after their wedding, Taeyang began his military service and successfully completed it in November 2019.
