The Firefly Bush functions as a new block within the latest update, resembling a natural bush. These bushes predominantly appear along the banks of rivers and in swamp biomes. Interestingly, players can cultivate these bushes using Bone Meal, but they operate differently compared to typical grass blocks.

How to Cultivate Firefly Bushes

To cultivate Firefly Bushes, simply right-click on an existing bush with Bone Meal. This will yield additional bushes instead of merely expanding the existing ones. You can collect these bushes and utilize them for decorative purposes within your base. A point to note is that using Bone Meal for this purpose will reduce your stock of it.

Additionally, if you pour a water bucket near the bushes or push them with a piston, they will be harvested. This unique behavior allows you to set up an efficient Firefly Bush farm with just one bush, a piston, observers, and a dispenser filled with Bone Meal.
