The team behind Mission: Yozakura Family includes an outstanding cast and staff, led by director Mirai Minato at Silver Link. Minato is also responsible for the series’ composition and script supervision. The music for the show is being composed by Osamu Sasaki and Kouji, while Mizuki Takahashi is credited as the chief animation director and character designer.

The main voice actors in the anime include Reiji Kawashima as Taiyo Asano, Kaede Hondo as Mutsumi Yozakura, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kengo and Goliath, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Kyoichiro Yozakura.

The plot of the anime

Mission: Yozakura Family is adapted from the manga series by Hitsuji Gondaira. It centers around Taiyo Asano, a high school student who is struggling with the aftermath of his parents’ accidental death.

Despite this, he is still hesitant to form connections with others, except for his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, whom he feels comfortable communicating with openly.

Despite certain events, Taiyo uncovers the surprising revelation that Mutsumi is actually the daughter of a family of top spies. Additionally, he learns that she is constantly bothered by her overbearing older brother, Kyoichiro.

Taiyo becomes acquainted with the Yozakura family’s hidden truths and regulations, as well as Mutsumi’s predicament. With this knowledge, he makes the bold choice to wed her childhood companion. Consequently, the anime masterfully combines elements of humor, adventure, and intense emotions.
