Mission: Yozakura Family – Episode 10 Recap

In celebration of the Kuroyuri mission’s success, Rin Fudo, Hinagiku’s chief, hosts a hot pot party. As Taiyo contemplates the contents of the cube and the truth behind his family’s death, he wonders if this discovery will bring about significant changes.

At that moment, a marble falls out of the cube as Mutsumi Yozakura kisses him on the cheeks and assures the boy that he will always be the same Taiyo, no matter what unexpected events may occur.

Upon informing Taiyo, Kyoichiro reveals that the marble may hold recorded optical data that can be extracted. Later, upon his return to the mansion, Taiyo Asano comes across Ayaka Kirisaki, who has been appointed as the Yozakura family’s housemaid.

Despite Mutsumi’s belief that the mansion would be the perfect place for his training, Ayaka’s constant attempts to assassinate Taiyo turn his introduction into a nightmare. Even when he’s taking a bath, Ayaka Kirisaki doesn’t give the boy a break.

Despite intruding on him and spraying acidic soap to test his evasion skills, Ayaka finds herself in a precarious situation when the bathtub’s electric trap is triggered. Fortunately, Taiyo comes to her rescue by cutting off the powerline.

The following day, Taiyo sets out on a mission and forgets his phone at home. Mutsumi Yozakura discovers it and sees a missed call from someone named Kaoru. Taiyo quickly retrieves his phone and departs. Ayaka suspects Taiyo of having an affair.

Afterward, the episode jumps ahead a few days, depicting Taiyo and Mutsumi enjoying their time with Goliath. Mutsumi shares that Goliath, a wolf-dog, has been a beloved member of their family since her great-great-grandmother’s time.

Although Goliath initially disapproves of Taiyo mimicking Mutsumi by sitting on his back, his opinion changes after the boy rescues him and Mutsumi from an assassination attempt.

Upon their return to the mansion, Ayaka confronts Taiyo, accusing him of being unfaithful to Mutsumi. She shows him a photo of him with an unfamiliar girl at a cafe, but to her surprise, the girl and her grandfather, Kaoru, enter the mansion.

The individuals disclosed that they were from Hinagiku and had been contacted by Taiyo to locate Kyoichiro’s favorite tea, the elusive Dark Sweet. The boy had requested their assistance in obtaining the tea for Kyoichiro, who always takes care of him.

Despite his desire to reveal the truth, he chose to keep it a secret from Mutsumi. While Kyoichiro is touched by Taiyo’s kind gesture, he still struggles to apologize to the boy. The episode concludes with the family savoring the special tea.
