Episode 7 of Mission: Yozakura Family, titled Government Spies, was aired on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 5 pm JST on MBS, TBS, and other local channels in Japan. In this episode, Taiyo Asano embarked on a mission to save his younger brother, Nanao Yozakura.

Despite encountering a few government spies during the mission who doubted his status as a Yozakura member, he continued on. Once again, Silver Link Studios successfully blended action and comedy to create an intriguing episode.

Mission: Yozakura Family episode 7 not only highlighted Taiyo’s impressive spy abilities, but it also emphasized his unwavering determination to redeem his family’s name, which he had previously stained.

Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 7 Highlights – Taiyo Asano’s Rescue Mission for Nanao

In the beginning of Mission: Yozakura Family episode 7, Oga, a blonde-haired boy, asks his partner Sui to take a look at Taiyo Asano’s wanted poster. However, Sui shows no interest as he is solely focused on completing their missions.

After that, episode 7 of Mission: Yozakura Family transitions to the Yozakura mansion, where Nanao calls Taiyo Asano. The young Yozakura informs him that he is currently on a secret mission to retrieve a dangerous bioweapon from a laboratory.

Despite his confidence in his ability to consume the weapon without harm, he is aware that he will become drowsy afterwards. Therefore, he enlists Taiyo’s help to extract him from the laboratory. Once he acquires the address, the main character makes his way to the designated spot and notices the lack of tight security.

Out of nowhere, he comes across the two men he encountered in the opening scene, Oga and Sui. They identify themselves as undercover agents representing the Hinagiku group. In contrast to the Yozakuras, who operate independently, they are employed by the government. Evidently, their objective is to disable the laboratory.

Despite Oga’s persistence, Taiyo reluctantly agrees to work with the government spies. But upon reaching Nanao’s whereabouts, he is shocked to learn that Sui and Oga have plotted to harm his younger brother. Filled with anger, Taiyo vows to defend Nanao at all costs.

Despite his efforts, Taiyo is ultimately overpowered by Sui’s quick and precise strikes in Mission: Yozakura Family episode 7. He collapses to the ground, blood seeping from his injury. In the midst of the chaos, Nanao is able to stand and notifies Sui that he has successfully consumed the bioweapon. As evidence, he even offers to perform a patch test on the spy.

Despite no longer viewing Nanao as a threat to the nation, Sui decides to release him. Additionally, he gifts the young boy with ointment and bandages in order to help save Taiyo.

Taiyo Asano’s Determination to Restore the Yozakura Family’s Reputation After His Setback

In episode 7 of Mission: Yozakura Family, the focus shifts to the Yozakura mansion, where Kyoichiro confronts Taiyo. He presents him with a newspaper article that has been published, exposing the Yozakura family’s shortcomings.

At the moment, Mutsumi Yozakura and Nanao arrive and witness Kyoichiro reprimanding Taiyo for not only bringing shame to the family, but also for putting Nanao’s life at risk. They criticize Kyoichiro for being too harsh on Taiyo.

In the end, the ace spy reveals to the boy that in order to take accountability for his actions, he must defeat Hinagiku and reclaim the Yozakura family’s reputation. Episode 7 of Mission: Yozakura Family clarifies that the key to winning a spy battle is to obtain information from the opposing side.

Despite starting to follow Sui Aoi from the Hinagiku, Taiyo Asano struggles to keep up with the spy’s rapid movements and elusive tactics. He makes numerous attempts to gather information from Sui by trailing him, but each time proves to be a challenge.

Despite his determination, the boy’s swift blade always hinders his progress. At the Yozakura mansion, Nanao finds Taiyo in a weakened state and inquires about his relentless efforts. The boy explains that he refuses to be someone who cannot even defend his own younger brother.

Nanao’s words serve as a reminder to Taiyo of his impressive accomplishments, elevating him to a level of coolness unmatched by anyone he knows. In a sudden burst of inspiration, the boy devises a plan to counter Sui’s superhuman agility. He spends an entire day tracking the spy before finally arriving at a graveyard.

Despite Taiyo’s repeated failures, Sui is impressed by his determination to continue pursuing him. However, this is the very reason why Sui intends to put an end to their conflict. With his blade, he charges towards Taiyo with the intent to inflict serious harm. To his surprise, the boy anticipates his attack and successfully blocks the blade with his bare hands.

In episode 7 of Mission: Yozakura Family, Taiyo reveals that he has pinpointed Sui’s tendencies as a swordsman. He successfully intercepted his attack towards the center of his chest by anticipating and stopping it at the perfect moment.

Despite hiding, Oga emerges to commend Taiyo Asano while Sui’s perception of him changes.

The light-hearted finale of Mission: Yozakura Family episode 7 sees Taiyo stumbling upon an inappropriate image of himself in the newspaper. Despite the previous article about his defeat by Sui being forgotten, a new one featuring embarrassing photos of him has now emerged.
