The latest episode of Mission: Yozakura Family, titled The Kuroyuri Party, aired on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 5 pm JST on MBS, TBS, and other affiliated networks in Japan. In this episode, Taiyo Asano embarked on an undercover mission to uncover the corrupt actions of a politician.
During the mission, the boy was surprised to discover a crucial detail about his parents’ death. Excitingly, Mission: Yozakura Family’s eighth episode started with the highly anticipated Kuroyuri arc, adapted from Hitsuji Gondaira’s manga series. The episode was filled with action and humorous moments, showcasing the talents of Taiyo, Kyoichiro, and their companions.
Mission: Yozakura Family episode 8 highlights: Mutsumi’s Tea Party with Taiyo at Hinagiku’s Headquarters
In episode 8 of Mission: Yozakura Family, the first scene shows a man performing on stage in front of a large audience. On the sidelines, a woman is accompanied by two individuals who are closely observing the performance of the unidentified person.
It is disclosed that the woman had given one of them a task, but it was not completed successfully. Nonetheless, she remains unfazed as she has a contingency plan in place with Taiyo, whose face is displayed on the monitoring board.
After that, the focus in Mission: Yozakura Family episode 8 shifts to Taiyo Asano, who is seen carrying a huge bag for his soon-to-be wife, Mutsumi Yozakura. As they reach a park, they are surprised to find Sui waiting for them. Taiyo is taken aback by her presence as he wasn’t expecting to see her there.
However, Mutsumi reveals that they will be heading to Hinagiku’s headquarters. In Mission: Yozakura Family episode 8, it is mentioned that the entrance to the HQ is located within a cafe. In order to access the headquarters, one must order a specific item that will open a secret chamber.
The journey to reach Hinagiku’s headquarters proves to be a terrifying ordeal for Taiyo, as he encounters numerous perilous traps along the way. Finally, he makes it to the heart of the office where he comes face to face with Rin Fudo, the leader of Hinagiku. To his surprise, she is the same woman he saw in the first scene of the episode.
In episode 8 of Mission: Yozakura Family, it is revealed that Rin is Kyoichiro Yozakura’s former classmate. She has invited Mutsumi to join her for a tea party. This leads to Taiyo’s discovery that the bag he has been carrying is actually filled with sweets.
Kyoichiro’s Interference at the Party, Rin Fudo’s Secret Mission for Taiyo
During Mission: Yozakura Family episode 8, Mutsumi’s peaceful tea party with Rin Fudo is disrupted by the sudden appearance of Kyoichiro Yozakura in the office. He strongly objects to his sister spending time with Rin Fudo, whom he refers to as a gorilla.
Despite Sui’s best efforts, a fight breaks out between the skilled spies. Mutsumi steps in to intervene, but before she can do anything, Kyoichiro and Rin’s punches almost knock her out. Fortunately, Taiyo Asano steps in and takes the blow meant for her.
Rin Fudo praises Taiyo for his impressive stamina and believes he would be an ideal choice for a highly confidential assignment. She reveals that there is a deceitful politician by the name of Yoshimasa Kuroyuri, who is also known as the Dancing Politician.
According to Hinagiku’s intelligence, Kuroyuri, a politician, has gained recognition and success by committing numerous crimes. However, it has been discovered that he intends to carry out a bomb attack before the upcoming general election. To carry out his plans, Kuroyuri has hired Red, Blue, and Yellow, top-level spies.
Given their knowledge of Hinagiku, the most effective approach to obtaining information about the bomb explosion would be to assign a neutral party. For this task, Rin believes Taiyo would be an ideal choice. She and Sui even go as far as transforming Taiyo Asano into a female for the covert operation.
Inquiring about the purpose of his disguise as a girl, Rin reveals to him that the Kuroyuri party is in search of a female volunteer. Taiyo is then seen successfully entering the Kuroyuri party in episode 8 of Mission: Yozakura Family.
Taiyo Exposes the Kuroyuri’s Scheme and Confronts a Shocking Reality
Taiyo Asano infiltrates the Kuroyuri party under the alias of Yoko Asada and gains insight into the deceptive ways of Yoshimasa Kuroyuri. He remains vigilant in monitoring the politician’s actions, but is unable to gather any concrete evidence of his wrongdoings. It is not until later that he uncovers the truth behind Kuroyuri’s seemingly innocent dance moves – they are actually coded messages for his accomplices.
Taiyo carefully examines his encrypted messages and uncovers Kuroyuri’s plot to detonate a bomb at the upcoming meeting in order to eliminate his rivals, including the deputy prime minister. Nevertheless, Taiyo takes steps to move the explosive device to a different location.
Surprisingly, Kuroyuri had already anticipated this move and had prepared an additional bomb. Not only that, but he also managed to reveal Taiyo’s disguise and shoot him. Despite this, in Mission: Yozakura Family episode 8, we see Taiyo miraculously surviving the attack. Furthermore, he had arranged for shock-resistant jackets from Nanao to safeguard the important guests in attendance.
With the assistance of Taiyo Asano, Kuroyuri is successfully captured in episode 8 of Mission: Yozakura Family. Despite the escape of his top spies, their leader is left behind. Afterward, Sui instructs Taiyo to bring Kuroyuri to Hinagiku’s headquarters for further handling.
As they sit inside the car, Kuroyuri praises Taiyo for his skill as a Yozakura rookie, despite the tragic loss of his parents in an accident. However, the politician expresses disappointment that Taiyo still considers it to be a mere accident.
The end of episode 8 of Mission: Yozakura Family leaves us on a cliffhanger, as Kuroyuri suggests that the apparent survival of Taiyo Asano and the demise of his family may have been orchestrated by someone else.
