Taiyo Asano answers a phone call from his younger brother, Nanao Yozakura, who reveals that he is currently on an undercover mission to retrieve a dangerous bioweapon. Nanao shares his plan to consume the bioweapon, but warns that it may cause him to fall into a deep sleep as a side effect.

After Nanao asks Taiyo to help him escape from the lab, the protagonist rushes to the designated location and is surprised to find the security to be lax. In that moment, he comes across two men named Sui and Oga who claim to be government spies working with the Hinagiku organization.

Upon being informed by the spies about their mission to neutralize the lab, Taiyo joins forces with them to bypass the remaining security measures. However, upon reaching Nanao’s whereabouts, Taiyo uncovers Sui and Oga’s intentions to eliminate Nanao in order to protect the nation.

Despite his fury, Taiyo remains determined to protect Nanao. However, Sui proves to be too fast with his blade and easily overpowers Taiyo. Just as Sui is about to strike the final blow, Nanao suddenly awakens and reveals that he has successfully consumed the bioweapon. To confirm this, he even offers to give the spy a patch test.

Despite this, Sui chooses to spare Nanao and even provides him with an ointment to heal Taiyo. However, at the Yozakura mansion, Kyoichiro takes the protagonist to task, informing them that a prestigious newspaper has published an article about Taiyo’s defeat.

Based on the newspaper’s report, the Yozakura family’s reputation has been damaged. Kyoichiro also scolds Taiyo for endangering Nanao’s life. He advises Taiyo to redeem himself by engaging in a spy war with government agents and obtaining crucial information from them.

As Taiyo trails behind Sui, he is quickly outmatched by the spy’s extraordinary speed and skills with a sword. However, through observation and determination, Taiyo is able to anticipate the spy’s movements and defend himself.
