Modern Warfare 3 August 6 Update Patch Notes

The developers have released a minor update for Warzone and MW3, which aims to reduce the effectiveness of the RPK Conversion kit and introduce some improvements for player convenience.

The upcoming August 6 update will decrease the effectiveness of the RPK JAK Cataclysm Conversion Kit by significantly reducing the amount of ammo available in each Munitions Box, with a decrease of 75%.

The notes also list twelve minor bug fixes for the IU, the map G3T_H1GH, COD Warrior mode, and various weapons.

Players will only notice the effects of this update if they have been exploiting the RPK or using the glitch that allowed them to carry more weapons than permitted in Zombies.

MW3 has recently received its second supplementary patch since the major Season 5 update on July 24. This significant update brought a wealth of fresh content and adjustments to weapon balance.

  • Fixed an issue causing players to die immediately in the Revive! Minigame.
  • Players downed during the Revive! Minigame will no longer be warned for inactivity.

Assault rifles are a type of firearm that is designed for rapid fire and is capable of firing multiple rounds in a short period of time.

  • Increased lower left arm damage multiplier from 1.2x to 1.3x.

Light Machine Guns are designed to be easily maneuverable and provide sustained fire power for extended periods of time.

  • JAK Cataclysm Conversion Kit
    • Decreased ammunition gained using a Munitions Box from 60 to 15 (-75%).

    • Fixed an issue allowing a faster fire rate than intended.

  • Modular Assault Rig Vest can now resupply EMP Grenades from dead players.
