Moist Esports: US Immigration and Apex Legends Visa Troubles Lawsuit

MoistCr1TiKaL, also known as Charlie, has declared that he and Moist Esports will be taking legal action against US Immigration due to their mishandling of Visas for his Apex Legends team.

MoistCr1TiKaL has consistently expressed his frustration with the US Immigration office and the challenges he has faced in bringing his Moist Apex Legends roster to LA. As the ALGS Year 4 Split 1 Playoffs were being held in-person, it was crucial for his team to be able to enter the US.

Despite successfully navigating challenges with US Immigration during qualifiers by having his players compete online from Canada, he eventually faced the setback of their Visa being denied. This forced him to disband the team in order to reapply for a new Visa, causing numerous complications. As a result, MoistCr1TiKaL and Moist Esports have filed a lawsuit against the US Immigration office.

In his video on the topic, Charlie, representing Moist Esports, stated that they are taking legal action against US Immigration. After consulting with their lawyers, it was agreed that the situation is very suspicious as it appears to involve several violations and a lack of proper protocol. There were numerous warning signs and significant issues that were not addressed.

Despite using a disguised name of “Not Moist Esports”for his team, he does not officially represent them. Moist Esports does not receive any share of the winnings and is unable to collaborate with the team as desired, leading to financial losses.

Despite this, the team still holds a great deal of fondness for him and Moist Esports, appreciating how they have supported the team through financial difficulties, as expressed by Wxltzy in a post-game interview on Twitter.

“Unconditional love, my friend. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful he has been to us. Truly, the entire team at Moist has been a pillar of support. Despite the highly stressful circumstances, they have gone above and beyond for us. I am extremely grateful and cannot thank them enough.”

Despite the team’s success at the ALGS LAN, Moist Esports is unlikely to receive direct financial gains. According to Charlie, the organization has incurred significant losses due to this situation. However, as he further clarified, it is not possible to seek compensation in the lawsuit against US Immigration.

“Through this lawsuit process, one thing I have come to realize is that the US Constitution itself contains corruption. Even if we do succeed in defeating US Immigration in this case, we will not receive any compensation for damages. And there have been a significant amount of damages incurred.”MoistCr1TiKaL confidently declared.

“This process has been incredibly costly, and it has also resulted in a significant loss of income for our organization due to the high stakes of the tournament and the potential for increased visibility. Additionally, we have incurred substantial legal fees. The amount of money invested in this has essentially been wasted due to complications with US Immigration.”

He proceeded to criticize the functioning of the entire office, directly holding the agent in charge of his players’ case accountable for “mishandling”it and expressing his shock at the corrupt and dysfunctional system. He exclaimed that it was completely flawed and absurd.

Despite having to endure all this, including multiple lengthy flights throughout the process, which has resulted in the team being unable to practice for weeks according to Charlie’s account, the Moist Esports squad is dominating at the ALGS LAN.

Despite not expecting the lawsuit to have any effect other than overturning the initial ruling against his players, he is still pursuing it. He has also confirmed that the proceedings for this suit are already well underway.
