MoistCr1TiKaL, also known as Charlie, has disclosed that he provided testimony against Billy Mitchell during an ongoing legal battle. Notably, a video featuring Moist farting on camera was presented as evidence to counter Mitchell’s assertions.
The legal dispute at hand is between Karl Jobst and Billy Mitchell, with Jobst asserting that Mitchell procrastinated for over three years prior to finalizing a court date in Australia. Jobst claims that this delay was unjustified and hindered the progression of the trial.
Mitchell has filed a lawsuit alleging that Jobst’s YouTube content, which accuses him of cheating in Donkey Kong, constitutes defamation. Consequently, he is pursuing $450,000 in damages in this case.
MoistCr1TiKaL took the stand as a witness during the trial’s sixth day, participating via video call. The interrogation conducted by both Mitchell’s and Jobst’s attorneys partly focused on a clip where Charlie is heard farting into a microphone.
“My fart was included as evidence in this case. Billy Mitchell’s team utilized my flatulence in their argument,” Moist noted humorously.
During the courtroom proceedings, the first 40 seconds of Charlie’s video titled ‘He’s a Cheater’ showcasing the sound, was played as a contentious element between the plaintiff and defendant.
MoistCr1TiKaL stated in the video, “Billy Mitchell does not deserve an apology because he is not innocent. You are allowing him to deceive and manipulate you, just as he has throughout his career.”
Mitchell’s legal representatives used Charlie’s remarks in court to highlight the “grapevine effect,” attempting to argue that Jobst’s videos led to Moist producing content based on what they regard as misinformation, thus validating their defamation claim against Jobst.
Concluding his video about his court involvement, MoistCr1TiKaL reaffirmed his views about Mitchell, labeling him as “a bully, a liar, a narcissist, a cheater, and someone with a poor character who has maintained a terrible reputation for years due to his own actions.”
