Monogatari : Off & Monster Season New Teaser Features YOASOBI

Animplex has released a new promotional video for Monogatari Series: Off Season & Monster Season, which confirms the anime’s release date. The video showcases the theme song “Undead”by YOASOBI and features scenes from Orokamonogatari (Off Season) & Nademonogatari (Monster Season).

The long-awaited Monogatari Off season and Monster season will both debut in Japan on July 6, 2024. Following the conclusion of the countdown on the anime’s official website on May 2, 2024, it was announced that the official theme song for the series will be performed by YOASOBI. The news was also shared on YOASOBI’s official Twitter account.

The production of the NISIOISIN’s novels’ new anime adaptation is being undertaken by Studio SHAFT, with the same team from Monogatari. The director of the series is Yoshizawa Midori, who also worked on the Kizumonogatari series.

The teaser for YOASOBI’s “Undead”was posted on NISIOISIN’s official Twitter account and on AniPlex’s YouTube channel on May 3, 2024, when the promotional video was also released.

The upcoming series, Monogatari: Off Season, will offer a fresh outlook on the beloved show. It will explore a variety of short stories set at different points in the Monogatari timeline, including some from the past, some during Araragi’s final year of high school (like the rest of the series), and some after Hana.

The Monogatari series will continue to chronicle Araragi’s journey as he navigates through his college years. However, it is difficult to predict how the events will unfold.
