The main attraction of the event schedule is the addition of Teostra to the game through the Howls of the Flaming King, a new Elder Dragon Interception.
There is also the addition of the Driftsmelting Bonanza event and the Even Happier Hunting event, where players can earn extra materials by collaborating with others.
Monster Hunter Now August Event Schedule
MH Now x MrBeast Challenge
The collaborative quest with MrBeast commenced on July 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and will conclude on September 2, 2024, at 8:59 a.m. (local time). Throughout the event, participants who have finished the prologue will have the opportunity to complete time-sensitive missions that will grant them a MrBeast themed Sword & Shield and exclusive cosmetic items.
Driftsmelting Bonanza!
The Driftsmelting Bonanza event for Monster Hunter will begin on July 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and will conclude on August 4, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). During this event, players will have the opportunity to obtain Mysterious Driftstone A and Driftgem A by defeating any large monster.
Water Element Quests
To assist players in getting ready for Teostra’s arrival in Monster Hunter Now, Niantic will be providing Hunters with the chance to increase the levels of their water weapons. The Water Element Quests will be available from August 5, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. until August 11, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time).
During the event, Hunters will receive 50% more materials from Mizutsune, Coral Pukei-Pukei, Jyuratodus, and Great Jagras than usual. Furthermore, they will also receive two of each material in the first and second slots of basic rewards.
Even Happier Hunting!
During the period of August 12, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. (local time) to August 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (local time), players will have the opportunity to receive enhanced rewards for participating in group hunts. Additionally, there will be a selection of new quests to embark on, providing even more chances for players to earn extra rewards.
Howls of the Flaming King
Teostra, the fiery monster, will be making its debut in Monster Hunter Now on August 16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (local time) until August 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (local time). It will be included in the game’s Elder Dragon Interception mode and will remain available for hunting even after the event concludes.
Driftsmelting Bonanza! Part 2
During the timeframe of August 19, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. (local time) to August 25, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (local time), Niantic will be introducing additional limited Driftstones to the game. Additionally, there will be an increase in the appearance of certain monsters.
Upcoming Event
Niantic has not yet disclosed any information about this undisclosed event, but they have confirmed that another event is in the works for the end of August. We will provide updates on this section as soon as the developers release more information.
Season 2 ending
The story quests for Season 2: Dancing in the Tempest will come to a close on September 11, 2024. Further information will be revealed at a later time.
