MrBeast and Monster Hunter are joining forces for a collaboration event on the mobile game, featuring an exclusive Sword & Shield.
On July 25, 2024, Niantic announced that Monster Hunter Now would be teaming up with well-known YouTuber, MrBeast, for an exclusive collaboration event. This event will allow players to create a unique Sword & Shield, acquire MrBeast-themed cosmetics, and even collect rare materials from various monsters.
In addition, the update will introduce a new feature called Dimensional Links, which will enhance the multiplayer hunting experience. This addition aims to benefit players who reside in rural areas or do not have a consistent group to play with, ultimately improving their overall gameplay.

MrBeast Challenge Quest details
Start Time and End Time
The collaboration with MrBeast will commence on July 27, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. PDT and will conclude on September 2, 2024 at 8:59 a.m. PDT. During this period, all hunters who have completed the prologue will have access to limited-time quests that can be found in the Special Quests tab.

The MrBeast Challenge Quest will grant players with the following weaponry, cosmetic items, and miscellaneous items as rewards:
- MrBeast Briefcase, used to upgrade the MrBeast Sword & Shield
- Exclusive Hunter Medal (Monster Hunter Now x MrBeast Challenge Medal)
- Exclusive MrBeast Layered Equipment
- Exclusive MrBeast face paint
- Exclusive MrBeast Guild Card Background
- Gatherable materials including Earth Crystals
- Rare Monster materials, including a Wyvern Gem Shard and a Zinogre Plate
- Zenny
- Season Tier Points
Exclusive Weapon Details for MrBeast
The MrBeast Sword & Shield comes packed with high physical damage.
During the event, players of Monster Hunter Now will have the opportunity to craft the MrBeast Sword & Shield. The popular YouTube star’s logo has been cleverly incorporated into the design, featuring a blue panther head for the shield and a pink lightning bolt for the sword.
Players participating in the event quest will have the opportunity to use the MrBeast Briefcase to forge and enhance the MrBeast Sword & Shield. All the necessary information about the weapon can be found below:

The MrBeast Briefcase and materials are essential for creating a powerful MrBeast Sword & Shield, and they also allow for upgrading it to grade 6.
Advancing beyond grade 7 will not necessitate the use of the MrBeast Briefcase, standard materials will suffice for future upgrades.
Dimensional Links Multiplayer Hunts
Dimensional Links add new multiplayer hunts to Monster Hunter Now.
It should be emphasized that Monsters affected by Dimensional Links will appear randomly on the field and can only be hunted in groups. Additionally, there is no expense associated with hunting these monsters and there is no waiting period, allowing you to hunt as many as you can find.
How to Hunt Dimensional Link Monsters
In order to participate in Dimensional Link hunts, the following steps must be completed:
- To access the option for “Hunt with faraway hunters”on the hunt preparation screen, simply tap on a monster that has been affected by a Dimensional Link.
- To start matching, click on the “Hunt with faraway hunters”option and then select “Start”.
- As soon as all hunters have assembled in the lobby and are prepared, the hunt will commence.
- Another way to participate in Dimensional Link hunts is by receiving invitations from hunters worldwide, so simply tap on the “Join hunt!” to join.
During Dimensional Link monster hunts, the “Solo hunt”and “Invite nearby hunters”options will not be accessible. Instead, you will automatically enter a multiplayer session with other players.
Furthermore, it is impossible to mark Monsters affected by Dimensional Links with a Paintball. As a result, you must successfully defeat the Monster during the encounter in order to obtain its rewards.
