On Monday, October 21, 2024, it was officially announced that the anime series Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! is currently in production, with a projected release set for Spring 2025. This exciting update was confirmed through the official X (formerly known as Twitter) account dedicated to the original light novel series that the anime will adapt.
The X account also unveiled a celebratory illustration marking the announcement of the Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! anime adaptation. This artwork prominently features the two main characters from the light novels: Melphiera Marchalrayd, the series protagonist, alongside Aristide Rogier du Galbraith, known as the Blood-Mad Duke of Galbraith.

The anime adaptation of Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! is based on the light novel series authored by Kanata Hoshi with illustrations by Peperon. This series has been in publication since April 2021 and continues to release new volumes. It serves as an adaptation of Hoshi’s original web novel, which started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro site in November 2019 and also remains ongoing.
Additionally, illustrator Chika Mizube has been working on a manga adaptation since March 2021, which is still in progress. Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing this manga in English and provides the following synopsis:
“Melphiera, an earl’s daughter ostracized by the nobility due to her unusual taste for monster-based dishes, hopes to find love at a party. However, she is attacked by a fearsome monster and is rescued by Aristide of Galbraith, the notorious ‘Blood-Mad Duke.’ He soon develops an interest in Melphiera, and to her surprise, he becomes intrigued by her unusual culinary passion!
