Moon Ga-young Takes on Female Lead Role in “Seocho-dong” Alongside Lee Jong-suk

An insider from the drama industry informed JTBC Enter News on October 4th that “Moon Ga-young will star as the lead in the upcoming drama ‘Seocho-dong’, portraying the character Kang Hee-ji.” In response, Moon Ga-young’s management agency, Peak J, stated, “We are currently in positive discussions regarding the offer.”

The new drama “Seocho-dong” explores the lives of lawyers working in various law firms. In this series, Moon Ga-young’s character, Kang Hee-ji, is a dedicated second-year lawyer at Johwa Law Firm. She embodies the belief that “changing one person’s life means changing their world.”Kang Hee-ji is characterized as confident, honest, and straightforward, and with Moon Ga-young’s innate charisma, the role is anticipated to be even more captivating.

Additionally, it has been reported that actor Lee Jong-suk has been offered the role of Ahn Joo-hyung, a ninth-year lawyer at Kyungmin Law Firm, and he is presently evaluating the opportunity. The production will be helmed by Director Park Seung-woo, recognized for his work on MBC’s drama “W” , which raises expectations for the collaboration between Moon Ga-young, Lee Jong-suk, and the esteemed director.
