Moon Sua’s Emotional Tribute to Late Moonbin at Billlie’s First Fan Concert

On May 4th, Billlie hosted their inaugural full-group fan concert ‘Your B, I’m B (Belllie’ve You)’ at the Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

This fan concert was Billlie’s first solo concert in Korea since their debut in 2021. There was a lot of excitement for the full-group performance after Moon Sua and Suhyeon returned to participate.

At the conclusion of the fan concert, Billlie debuted their song ‘DANG!’ with all seven members performing together for the first time. Following the exhilarating performance, the youngest member Haruna expressed her gratitude, stating, “It’s a joy to stand on stage with all seven members. I know the unnies who were on break must have been anxious and concerned, so I am grateful for their return.”

Moon Sua expressed her gratitude towards her fellow members for their support during her first performance of ‘DANG!’. She shared, “I am truly thankful to the members. They took great care of Billlie while I was taking a break, and their performances gave me strength. It is a privilege to join all seven members on stage for the fan concert.”

Moon Sua expressed, “This moment truly feels like a dream. Attending a Billie concert has always been on my bucket list, and it holds special significance that my first fan concert with all seven members took place after my return. Despite the challenges I faced, I was determined to deliver a performance with a clear mind and having all seven members present was a big achievement. I am immensely thankful to all those who came to support us.”

Moon Sua expressed her desire to share the stage with everyone, but there was one person in particular that she truly wanted to show it to. She became emotional as she mentioned the late Moonbin, and thanked them for their support and strength that allowed her to smile again and perform with her fellow members. She promised to work hard and show a stronger image, and asked for continued support from the audience. She also hoped for the late Moonbin to watch over them in the future.

After Moonbin’s death on April 19, 2023, at the age of 25 in his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Moon Sua took two breaks from her activities. During these periods, she prioritized her health and was able to make significant improvements by April 12th, with the guidance of healthcare experts. As a result, she resumed her activities with renewed determination.
