Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is expanding his digital empire by acquiring ‘Vouch,’ an innovative online networking platform tailored for content creators.
It’s nearly impossible to browse the internet without encountering discussions or updates about MrBeast. This popularity is justified; he became the most-subscribed creator on YouTube earlier this year and recently introduced a competitor to Lunchables with fellow influencers KSI and Logan Paul.
Moreover, he is set to host a new game show that will be exclusively available on Amazon, further solidifying his footprint in the creator space by acquiring a tool designed to function as a LinkedIn for influencers.
‘Vouch’ is a platform developed to link employees with content creators. Job postings shared on the platform’s Twitter/X account include opportunities like, ‘The Skorys are hiring an editor,’ and, ‘Anna McNulty is hiring! Editor & Producer.’
Hype post incoming: @VouchCreators has been acquired by @MrBeast! Two and a half years ago, I set out to build THE hiring platform for the creator economy. Vouch provides aspiring professionals a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the internet’s most famous personalities, with MrBeast now at the helm.
“After a fantastic two years of building Vouch, we’re excited to share that we’ve been acquired by MrBeast,” the company stated on its website.
“We look forward to continuing our mission of elevating the creator economy by joining the team that consistently pushes the boundaries of possibility.”
As of this writing, Vouch has temporarily halted its applications as it transitions to being part of one of the most recognized figures on the internet.
This acquisition news comes on the heels of another employment-related development for MrBeast, who received criticism in October 2024 for a LinkedIn job posting seeking an AI Concept Artist.
The YouTuber faced backlash from artists, one of whom expressed the desire for him to “hire a real artist who needs a job instead of outsourcing funds for someone to simply input prompts into a generator.”
