A spokesperson for popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson acknowledged that the influencer has used “inappropriate language”in past videos, as controversy continues to surround the creator.
MrBeast achieved a significant milestone on YouTube in July 2024 by reaching over 300 million subscribers. This achievement was made possible by his philanthropic endeavors, high-budget productions, and extravagant challenges.
Despite his worldwide success, his brand has recently come under fire following allegations of inappropriate behavior towards minors by his collaborator, Ava Kris Tyson, in July 2024. As a result, Donaldson has faced widespread criticism, with fans expressing disappointment in his association with Tyson and former employees labeling him a “fraud”in viral video exposés.

On July 31, in the midst of this ongoing retaliation, MrBeast released a statement through a spokesperson who spoke to the Associated Press.
According to the spokesperson, Jimmy behaved like many teenagers and used inappropriate language in an attempt to be humorous. However, over time, he has consistently apologized and recognized that as his influence grows, he must also be more conscious and considerate of the impact of his words.
“Despite making some poor jokes and errors in his youth, he has since dedicated himself to collaborating with the MrBeast community in order to make a meaningful difference on a global scale as an adult.”
MrBeast has come under fire multiple times in the past, with many netizens taking issue with his philanthropic projects such as this one, where he helped build homes for unhoused people in several countries.
MrBeast’s most recent statement came in response to the allegations made against Ava Kris Tyson. Tyson had stated that she was distancing herself from the MrBeast brand, to which Donaldson responded by claiming he had terminated her. He expressed his disgust towards her actions.
“I have made it my priority to hire an independent third party in order to conduct a comprehensive investigation and gather all necessary information,”he stated. “Having said that, I have taken prompt action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any affiliation with MrBeast based on what I have seen online.”
Currently, MrBeast is conducting an internal investigation into Ava’s behavior, but it remains uncertain what consequences may be in store for the popular YouTube personality. As backlash against him persists on social media, the topic of his actions continues to spread and dominate online conversations while users eagerly anticipate updates.
