MrBeast contestant #42 goes viral after “super villain” behavior makes 11-year-old cry

A participant in MrBeast’s video challenge, ranging from ages 1 to 100, has sparked controversy due to their decision which ultimately caused an 11-year-old contestant to become upset.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, a popular YouTuber, is renowned for his extravagant challenge videos. His most recent video has received a considerable amount of criticism due to the treatment of a specific participant.

The video, which was released on April 20, featured a competition between 100 individuals ranging in age from one to 100 for a chance to win a cash prize of $250,000. This type of challenge is not uncommon for MrBeast, as he has previously created videos with similar challenges.

Despite being 42 years old, a contestant in the video has gained the label of a “cartoon villain”due to accusations of manipulating another participant into eliminating an eleven-year-old girl.

An eleven-year-old girl was left in tears after getting eliminated in one of MrBeast’s challenge videos.

In MrBeast’s video, inspired by the popular show Squid Game, the 100 contestants were given the challenge of choosing who would be eliminated. The creator enticed them with the promise of thousands of dollars in cash to persuade them to leave the game. Furthermore, he also threatened to eliminate entire groups of participants if they were unable to convince others to quit.

The challengers were engaged in passionate discussions and feelings were running high during the game. One member of the group even proposed that individuals above the retirement age or young children should excuse themselves from participating.

The true turning point occurred when contestant 42, acting as a team captain, suggested to fellow contestant 43 to remove several randomly chosen participants by spinning a wheel. 43 had the choice to either eliminate them or allow them to remain… and 42 was determined not to let the opportunity of winning $250K slip away.

“By allowing her to remain, she gains power,”he said to 43 in a devious tone, accompanied by a wicked smile that only emphasized his villainous nature to the viewers.

As tensions rose, 43 was given the opportunity to eliminate an eleven-year-old girl. The young girl was left in tears after 42 successfully convinced his teammate to vote her out.

“The youngster pleaded, “You are a kind person, and I hope you will be kind enough to spare me.”

Despite having different plans, 42 was determined to persuade his teammate not to eliminate herself from the competition. “Now is not the time to develop a heart,”he advised her. Eventually, his words convinced her and he expressed his pride in her to 43.

Despite being a contestant on the show, his advice to 43 caused him to become extremely disliked by his fellow competitors. In fact, number 62 went as far as labeling him a “villain”before she was eliminated from the game.

Although he was known for his cunning tactics, 42 ultimately met his demise at the hands of contestant number 58. In a last minute move, the older contestant emerged from his cubicle, sacrificing himself and preventing 42 from claiming the $250,000 prize. This was a challenge where the sole remaining participant would win the cash, but only if no one else stepped out as well.

“I raised my voice and made my intentions very clear, and you were well aware of the consequences. In response, you simply said, ‘Money.’ I do not have a favorable opinion of you.”

Despite being labeled a “supervillain,”contestant 42 did not seem to have a favorable opinion among viewers.

Contestant #42 wasn’t happy about getting eliminated.

“According to one viewer, 42 was a true villain. The individual stated that the character was thoroughly evil, citing the quote: ‘Now is not the time to develop a heart’ as evidence of their supervillain status.”

“One person stated that 42 demonstrated a lack of moral principles and was willing to compromise his integrity for $250,000. Another person commented that 58 was fully aware of his actions in that situation.”

Another commenter remarked, “Number 42 is definitely the most cunning villain to ever appear in a MrBeast video. He cleverly manipulated number 43 into eliminating a large number of contestants. It seems like he must have been plotting this all along, haha.”

Later, number 42 went live on TikTok to address the situation and openly expressed some “hard feelings”towards number 58.

“He expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that he was extremely upset by the person’s arrogant and pompous behavior.”

In reality, 42 asserted that both individuals were put on the same shuttle to return to their hotel after being eliminated. He informed his opponent on the shuttle that he had “absolutely no desire to be amicable with you whatsoever.”

“Due to your actions, I have lost a significant amount of money, so I am not willing to be your conversational partner.”

During the video, 42 disclosed that he is a father of four and holds a regular job, stating that he, along with numerous other participants, could have benefited from the money.

Despite receiving sympathy from some commenters for his strategy to obtain the $250K, many others are still displeased with his actions during the game.

In the end, it was contestant number 47 who won the quarter-million dollars, as MrBeast’s video received over 76 million views in just three days. More commenters continue to share their thoughts on 42’s viral antics.

The latest viral sensation from a MrBeast video is Number 42, following the trend of #67 from the YouTuber’s popular Squid Game recreation that dominated social media in 2021.
