MrBeast Prepares for His Legacy with Planned Post-Mortem YouTube Videos

Death may not signify the end for MrBeast, the renowned YouTube sensation. He has already started preparing for his eventual demise, revealing that numerous videos have been pre-recorded to ensure his channel continues to thrive long after he’s “in a coffin.”

Despite recent controversies, MrBeast remains the largest content creator globally. As the top YouTuber, his brand has evolved into a content powerhouse, consistently producing viral hits that garner hundreds of millions of views each month.

Even with expansion into a blockbuster $100 million Amazon game show shrouded in legal complications, MrBeast’s profile continues to rise. However, what would happen if Jimmy Donaldson, the man behind the brand, were to unexpectedly pass away? Although a somber topic, the YouTuber is already implementing strategies for that scenario.

During a discussion about his mortality on Impaulsive, alongside KSI and Logan Paul, co-creators of the new Lunchly brand that is once again caught in controversy, MrBeast disclosed his plans in the event of his untimely death.

MrBeast has at least 15 months’ worth of content prepared to be released posthumously.

In light of Nikocado Avocado’s surprising confession, where he filmed content two years in advance before losing significant weight, the trio acknowledged the brilliance of such foresight. The founders of Prime Hydration speculated that MrBeast likely has similar tricks in store, and it turns out they were correct.

“I feel like that’s something you would do,” KSI quipped. “Well, I did…” MrBeast affirmed before being interjected.

“I did plan that for when I die,” he elaborated. “I have a collection of videos pre-recorded so my channel can keep uploading.”

The current estimate is 15 videos, all filmed and ready for his team to publish after his passing. He hinted that these were recorded during his younger years and might benefit from being ‘re-filmed’ before release.

“Certain people in my company know where to locate these videos on my old computer. Just upload them once a month, so it feels like I’m still around. They’re kind of subpar videos. One of them even shows me sitting at a table opening old fan mail.”

“In those videos, I made jokes like ‘I’m probably in a coffin right now just chilling, don’t feel bad for me, I’m dead.’”

MrBeast discusses his death at the 21:35 mark below.

As a light-hearted gesture for his community, he joked that the first of these posthumous videos would be titled ‘My Last Video.’ Following that, another surprise piece of content will be released a month later, and so on until they are all shared.
