In a surprising turn of events, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has officially ended his long-standing rivalry with T-Series, one of the largest music labels in India. The reconciliation took place during a meeting on December 9, where MrBeast met with T-Series CEO Bhushan Kumar.
This momentous meeting comes after MrBeast claimed the title of YouTube’s most-subscribed channel in June, overtaking T-Series. In a gesture of goodwill, he proposed a unique collaboration: he would subscribe to T-Series’ channel, but only after they subscribed to him first.
In a light-hearted exchange, MrBeast attempted to ‘fake out’ Kumar by teasing him after he subscribed. Ultimately, he did subscribe to T-Series, symbolically ending their feud.
The Community Reacts: What About PewDiePie?
Reactions from fans have been mixed. Many commenters humorously lament what they perceive as MrBeast’s “betrayal” of his fellow YouTuber PewDiePie, whom he vigorously supported during the viral subscriber battle against T-Series in 2019.
One TikTok user humorously remarked, “The old MrBeast would be ashamed.” Others chimed in with quips like, “So it’s treason,” and “We got MrBeast following T-Series before GTA 6.”
As of now, PewDiePie has not publicly commented on the collaboration, despite MrBeast’s earlier victory over T-Series on his behalf. Notably, MrBeast was a key figure in promoting PewDiePie’s channel at the Super Bowl, famously wearing merchandise that read, “Sub 2 PewDiePie.”

Interestingly, MrBeast surpassed PewDiePie himself in subscribers in 2022, leading to a playful exchange where PewDiePie jokingly suggested that MrBeast should remove his channel as a form of penance. The two have since collaborated on content and maintained a friendly relationship.
This newest partnership between MrBeast and T-Series coincides with the impending release of his Amazon game show, “Beast Games.”This ambitious project reportedly set 28 Guinness World Records and involved an astonishing investment of $14 million to create a fully functional city for contestants during filming.
Scheduled to premiere on December 19, with new episodes released weekly, this show promises to be another milestone in MrBeast’s illustrious career as an internet sensation.
