MrBeast Speaks Out After Ava Kris Tyson Controversy to Respond to Lunchly Criticism

MrBeast has finally spoken out on social media regarding the Ava Kris Tyson controversy, addressing the backlash surrounding his newly launched Lunchables competitor, Lunchly.

In a collaborative effort, Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast have ventured into the food industry with Lunchly, a product that closely competes with Lunchables. Lunchly features items such as Prime, Feastables, and various convenient food options for those on the go.

The trio has previously achieved success with their food and beverage lines, having jointly introduced Prime Hydration and Feastables.

However, the announcement of Lunchly was met with skepticism from numerous content creators who questioned both the product quality and the trio’s genuine intentions.

Responding to the criticism, Logan Paul defended the brand and their actions, asserting that their focus is on building sustainable businesses. He also drew attention to alleged bans on Lunchables due to lead content, emphasizing that those dissatisfied with Lunchly can simply choose not to consume it.

Meanwhile, MrBeast had refrained from engaging on social media since July 25, following a series of controversies involving allegations against former employee Ava Kris Tyson regarding grooming minors and multiple claims of a “toxic” work environment made by former employees.

At last, MrBeast has reentered the social media scene to address the criticisms aimed at their new product launch.

In response to a tweet from DramaAlert, MrBeast took the opportunity to tackle many of the criticisms directed at Lunchly, particularly the comparisons to Lunchables. He stressed that they are providing a “better for you alternative.”

“Lunchables sells hundreds of millions of units and countless people eat it. Our goal is to give people a better for you alternative to it,” MrBeast stated. For instance, their turkey meal contains 80 fewer calories, 60% less sugar, more electrolytes, and utilizes real cheese, as opposed to the “cheese product” used by Lunchables. It also features higher quality meat.

He acknowledged that fresh foods like chicken and broccoli are healthier options, but suggested that for individuals who already consume premade meals like Lunchables, providing a “higher quality” option at a similar price point serves as a “net good.”

“Obviously, eating fresh chicken and broccoli is healthier,” MrBeast remarked, “but if someone is going to eat a premade meal like this—which millions of people do through Lunchables—then I think giving them a higher quality version at roughly the same price is a net good in my opinion, and that’s why we launched Lunchly.”

He concluded by expressing hopes that, through economies of scale, they can reduce production costs and continually improve the value of Lunchly over time.
