MrBeast’s Collaboration with Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed Has Lowest YouTube Performance in Over a Year

u003cp>MrBeast, a prominent YouTube figure, typically accumulates millions of views within hours on his record-setting, high-budget videos. However, his most recent collaboration with two fellow creators appears to be facing significant challenges.

Known as Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, he holds the title for the most-subscribed channel on YouTube. Throughout his career, he has shattered numerous records, including a staggering 71 million views on one of his videos in just 24 hours back in July 2024.

Yet, just a few months later, the digital sensation is experiencing a notable drop in viewership, most evident in a video released on October 12.

In this new content, MrBeast embarks on a week-long adventure through an ‘underground city’ alongside popular influencers Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and Logan Paul. Despite the star-studded lineup, the video has only attracted roughly 60 million views over five days — a stark contrast to his previous uploads.

These figures would be remarkable for most content creators but reflect a significant decline for MrBeast, who typically gains that level of views within the first day of releasing a video. In fact, this particular upload is noted as the slowest growth rate of any of his posts since May 2023.

This downward trend is concerning for the YouTube sensation, who has observed a steady decline in views with each video since his record-breaking publication, ’50 YouTubers fight for $1M’ in July.

MrBeast has been experiencing a gradual decrease in views since July 2024.

While the precise causes for this decline remain uncertain, it marks a continuation of a troubling trend for Donaldson, who began losing views and subscribers as early as August.

Earlier reports indicated that in August, he faced a staggering drop of 153 million views and 12 million subscribers compared to his July statistics. Many observers attribute this decline to the various controversies surrounding the YouTube star, his brand, and his associates.

Although skeptics have scrutinized MrBeast’s charitable endeavors, including building homes in Jamaica and funding cataract surgeries, the YouTuber is now facing fierce criticism for multiple issues, including controversy over his recent product, Lunchly, and backlash regarding his previous connections with Ava Kris Tyson, who was accused of inappropriate conduct with minors.

Additionally, in September, MrBeast was confronted with a lawsuit from contestants of his groundbreaking ‘Beast Games’ show, alleging “inhumane conditions” on set.

So far, MrBeast has not publicly responded to the lawsuit but has pledged to conduct a thorough investigation of his company following these events over the summer.
