Despite the generous intentions behind MrBeast’s latest giveaway, many social media users have criticized the game rules, deeming them as “too simple.”
On October 7, the popular YouTuber MrBeast introduced his innovative ‘lookalike’ challenge. The game involved one participant attempting to identify the ‘genuine’ MrBeast from a group of lookalikes.
In an Instagram update outlining the challenge’s guidelines, MrBeast was seen among his duplicates, playfully asking, “I’m the real MrBeast. Can you figure out who I am?”
“It’s me!” he exclaimed. “Let’s find out if random folks can spot the difference.”
During the game, both MrBeast and his lookalikes displayed numbered signs, allowing the contestant to make informed guesses based on the numbers.
Contestants had only ten seconds to make their final choice. A correct guess would reward them with $10,000, while an incorrect one meant they would leave without any winnings.
Fortunately, one of the initial players made the right call, securing the $10K prize directly from MrBeast.
Although the event provided a fun experience along with possible cash rewards, many online commentators found the challenge “too easy.”
“This is the simplest MrBeast challenge to date,” remarked a user on X/Twitter.

Another chimed in, stating, “Bro, this is way too easy. I could totally do this. MrBeast, pick me!” A third user added their sentiments, noting that MrBeast, born Jimmy Donaldson, seems to have “excessive funds,”suggesting he’s “just distributing cash without reason now.”
Although MrBeast has yet to upload a full video detailing the lookalike challenge to his 319 million subscribers, he recently disclosed plans for 15 pre-recorded YouTube videos, which he intends to release posthumously.
In a lighthearted dialogue with his Lunchly partner KSI, the two shared a laugh over the concept. Nevertheless, MrBeast clarified, expressing, “I have numerous videos prepared to ensure my channel continues to upload regularly.”
“In those videos, I joked, ‘I’m probably in a coffin right now just chilling; don’t worry about me, I’m dead,’” he mentioned.
