MTG Assassin’s Creed Leak Reveals All-Powerful God Card

The Capitoline Triad, a powerful God card from MTG’s Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed set, has been revealed ahead of MTG’s official Assassin’s Creed announcements. It is expected to greatly enhance the strength of decks utilizing Historic cards.

Despite Magic: The Gathering’s Modern Horizons 3 set being at the center of a series of leaks, the information has been proven to be mostly accurate. This trend also holds true for Assassin’s Creed, as The Capitoline Triad has been officially confirmed as a Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed card.

The Capitoline Triad is a powerful God Artificer Creature card that requires a high mana cost of 10, but its Those Who Came Before ability allows for a reduction of 1 mana for each Historic card in the controller’s graveyard. This unique ability makes it less mana-intensive to cast, making it a valuable addition to any deck.

Artificer cards typically have strong synergy with Artifacts, making it simple to significantly decrease the cost of this card. By arranging the graveyard effectively, it is even possible to cast this card at no cost!

Although utilizing a low-cost 7/7 Creature can be beneficial, the true strength of The Capitoline Triad lies in its ultimate ability. By removing cards from your graveyard with a total mana value of 30 or more, all of your Creatures will permanently have 9/9 as their base power and toughness. This immense strength will inevitably lead to your opponents’ life points being depleted.

By coupling it with the traditional strategy of the Artificer game, which involves generating Flying Thopter tokens, the Capitoline Triad can construct an invincible aerial army that can secure triumph in almost all situations except for rare exceptions.

It should be noted that if this leak is indeed authentic, it would mark the first time a Creature in MTG has the ability to grant Emblems, a characteristic typically exclusive to Planeswalker cards.

MTG’s crossover line has been continuously growing in popularity, with Universes Beyond: Fallout being the latest successful addition to the already beloved Tales of Middle-earth. The upcoming release of Assassin’s Creed will determine if the streak will continue, as its Beyond Boosters and smaller set size may present challenges to overcome.
