During lunch, Rudeus sought the counsel of Cliff and Zanoba regarding his predicament. He asked for their advice, and Cliff ultimately suggested that a man should have a house of his own before getting married.

After considering the advice, Rudeus made his way to a real estate agency and chose a large mansion that had an unexpectedly low price. However, he later discovered that the house was haunted as the previous residents had been killed.

Once Rudeus had requested Cliff and Zanoba’s assistance, he made the decision to spend the night at the mansion with them, in order to investigate the validity of the rumors. To their dismay, the trio encountered an eerie being that appeared to be a ghost at first, but was actually revealed to be a mobile, enchanted doll.

Despite Cliff’s overwhelming fear and frantic recitation of spells to banish the ghost, Rudeus was also somewhat shocked and frightened. However, Zanoba quickly sensed that something was amiss. Taking control of the situation, Zanoba grasped the ghost’s head and urged Rudeus to step aside. It soon became clear to all three of them that the ghost was simply a doll imbued with magic.

Upon recognizing the familiar features of the robot from his previous life, Rudeus was taken aback to find the same type of tool in the Six-Faced World. He carefully examined the surroundings and eventually stumbled upon a concealed room where the individual responsible for the doll was studying it. Based on Rudeus’ observations, the doll was designed to protect the house, thus resulting in the demise of the trespassers.

When they were returning to the university, Zanoba asked to take the lead in researching the doll, and Rudeus agreed. A few days later, once the mansion was prepared, Rudeus surprised Sylphy, and she was ecstatic.
