Rifujin na Magonote is the author and illustrator of the light novel series Mushoku Tensei. The series has been adapted into a manga and its anime adaptation began in January 2021. The second part of its second season has recently finished airing.

Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Announced
The preview video for season 3 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation featured a narration by Tomokazu Sugita, the voice actor for the main character Rudeus Greyrat.
Although an official release date for the new season has not yet been announced, fans can anticipate the return of the voice cast and staff for season 3. This is due to the fact that Studio Bind, the animation studio responsible for the adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote’s light novel, was established specifically for this anime series.
The anime adaptation of Mushoku Tensei began with a first season consisting of two parts, which aired from January 11, 2021 to December 20, 2021. The second season also consisted of two parts, airing on January 10, 2023 and June 30, 2024.
According to the continuing pattern of the series, viewers can anticipate Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 3 to follow a similar format of being split into two parts and airing in different anime seasons. The episode count is likely to be consistent with the previous seasons at 23-24 episodes, although this is subject to speculation.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Part 2 Episode 12 Summary
The title of the episode was “Succession”and it began with Rudeus and his companions arriving back at their home. He was concerned about his wife Sylphy, but upon entering his home, he realized that she was not there. Gradually, the rest of the household appeared, and Rudeus was relieved to see that although his wife had not yet become pregnant, she was in good health.
Upon entering, everyone was present, including Norn who had just returned from school. They then delivered the devastating news of Paul’s passing. Norn broke down in tears and initially wanted to hold Rudeus responsible, but seeing her brother’s missing arm, she composed herself. Norn then asked Rudeus to return Paul’s sword to her, to which he obliged and repeated the same words that Paul had told him before handing her the sword.
After the departure of everyone else, Rudeus revealed to Slyphy that he was considering Roxy as a potential second wife. Norn was initially resistant to the idea, but Rudeus persisted in trying to convince her. However, Norn continued to insult and ridicule Roxy, causing her to ultimately decide to leave. Before Roxy could leave, Sylphy intervened and urged her to join their family.
In the final moments of the episode, Slyphy gave birth to Rudeus’ child, who bore a striking resemblance to the protagonist. The baby was named Lucie Greyrat and the next day, Rudeus paid a visit to his father’s grave and confided in him. The third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will pick up from this pivotal moment.
