Mutahar Breaks 12-Day YouTube Hiatus with Apology for NuxTaku “Hit Piece”

Mutahar Breaks 12-Day YouTube Hiatus with Apology for NuxTaku “Hit Piece”

After a nearly two-week break from YouTube, Mutahar, the creator behind SomeOrdinaryGamers, has made a comeback following a public feud with his former associate, NuxTaku.

In early December 2024, Mutahar posted—and later privated a video—expressing his discontent towards NuxTaku. This reaction stemmed from accusations arising within Mutahar’s subreddit, where users claimed that both he and Nux had been involved in responding to an inappropriate anime video featuring minors during a collaboration in 2021.

On December 3, Mutahar released a now-deleted video titled ‘Post Nux Clarity,’ where he disavowed the video in question and clarified that he had not been made aware of its content beforehand.

In this video, Mutahar remarked, “It should have been something that I never watched in the first place; I should have never condoned [it], and honestly, it’s pretty sh*tty to even contribute to normalizing this type of material.” He went on to say, “…at the end of the day, my relationship with NuxTaku is pretty much over, and it’s not something I ever want to rekindle, especially after reviewing all of the things that have come out of this.”

SomeOrdinaryGamers Returns Following NuxTaku Controversy

On December 14, Mutahar re-emerged on YouTube with a new video, which included a four-minute segment addressing his previous remarks regarding Nux and offering apologies for dragging their personal conflict into his content.

In this recent upload, he characterized his December 3 video as a “pretty bad decision” and a “hit piece” against NuxTaku that should have been addressed in private. He emphasized that he and Nux managed to resolve their issues away from the public eye, expressing a desire to focus on future content rather than past drama.

“I want to take accountability for a seriously f*ckin’ sh*tty video I made about a week and a half ago. It’s one of those videos I want to move past. I’ve talked to everyone privately, which I should have in the first place. That’s pretty much what it comes down to,” he acknowledged.

Mutahar’s December 14 video also features a two-hour exploration of the ‘dead internet theory,’ showcasing a shift towards extensive, long-form content that he intends to pursue more actively in the future.

Viewer reactions to Mutahar’s apology have generally been positive, with many fans expressing enthusiasm for the longer videos he plans to create, hoping these efforts will contribute to a more positive atmosphere in the community.
