MW3 CoD Warrior mini-games explained

The latest addition to Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 is the CoD Warrior mode, which combines multiple mini-games into a single playlist.

Up to this point, the developers have introduced multiple party modes that provide fast-paced gameplay with a variety of rules, weapons, and content variations. These modes include options such as the parkour-based Get Higher or the team-based Mutation. However, CoD Warrior stands apart from the rest with its combination of intense mini-games in easily digestible formats.

CoD Warrior mode in MW3

CoD Warrior is a recently introduced game mode in MW3 where three pairs of players face off in a series of 15 fast-paced, randomly selected mini-games. A team earns a point for each round won, and the ultimate victors are the first to accumulate five points.

Mini-games feature round timers that last anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds, and players are limited to a single life per round with no opportunity for respawning.

Beat Up the Car

  • Both teams start with Sledgehammers and a vehicle; the team that destroys the other team’s car first will be declared the winner.
  • Round time: 60 Seconds

Breacher Ball

  • All players are provided with an endless supply of Breacher Drones to utilize as their weapons.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Bullet Time

  • In order to protect themselves from enemy attacks, all players are equipped with “extremely low-velocity weapons,”which enables them to evade incoming fire.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Shoot

  • Upon spawning, players will find themselves in a circle equipped with TYR Handguns.
  • Round time: 30 seconds

Don’t Shoot

  • Unlike the ‘Shoot’ mini-game, in this version players spawn in a circle and are armed with TYR Handguns. However, firing at other players will result in instant death.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Drone Wars

  • Every player possesses both Stormenders and Bomb Drones.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Fragged

  • Players are given an unlimited supply of Frag Grenades and a Riot Shield to safeguard themselves against explosions.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

The Hunt

  • The players are separated into two groups: hunters, who are armed and responsible for eliminating the runners, who have no equipment.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Knives

  • The only weapons available for players to use in combat will be knives.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Meta Loadout

  • Gamers are provided with inefficiently optimized Loadouts in order to outlast their opponents.

  • Each individual is equipped with a Juggernaut suit and a minigun for combat.

Last Ninja Standing

  • Utilizing their improved speed and jumping abilities, players will rely solely on the Ninja’s Throwing Stars to eliminate their foes.

How to Bring Something Back to Life

  • In order to emerge victorious, teams must successfully find and revive a teammate who has been knocked out.
  • Round time: 60 seconds

Shocking

  • In order to survive, players must endure the electric shocks inflicted by the Shock Stick.
  • Round time: 90 seconds

Turret Time

  • Players are equipped with Stormender Launchers and a Remote Turret to help them survive. The Turret is capable of eliminating enemies, while the Stormender can easily destroy them.
  • Round time: 90 seconds
