MW3 Developers Confirm Return of Popular Variant to Abandoned Mode

The return of a beloved game mode variant has been confirmed by the devs, causing Modern Warfare 3 players to feel extremely excited.

MW3 offers a diverse selection of game modes, ranging from traditional favorites such as TDM, Domination, and Search and Destroy to newer options like Cranked and Gunfight.

Gunfight, which was introduced in Modern Warfare 2019, quickly gained popularity and has been featured in subsequent Call of Duty games.

In this mode, two teams of two players compete against each other on smaller maps using the same loadout. While the loadouts may be simple, players are eagerly hoping for a version of the Gunfight mode in MW3 where they can utilize Weapon Blueprints.

Furthermore, it appears that the developers have indeed confirmed its comeback, as they responded to a player’s plea for increased diversity in the 2v2 mode on Reddit.

Upon hearing Sledgehammer Games’ mention of “Blueprint Gunfight,”the community was filled with excitement, as players eagerly speculated if their “prayers”had finally been heard.

Blueprint Gunfight offers a heightened experience compared to the original 2v2 mode, as it provides players with the opportunity to utilize Weapon Blueprints that they may have not previously acquired or utilized. This adds an element of excitement, as the next Blueprint received is always a surprise.

“The addition of blueprint gunfight has greatly improved the game. I appreciate not having to use subpar weapons in gunfight,”stated one player, with another adding, “It would be even better if they add it.”

The developers have provided a brief indication that Blueprint Gunfight will be added to Modern Warfare 3, however, no specific details have been revealed regarding its release date.

Season 4 Reloaded is scheduled to release on June 26, but since it was not included in the roadmap, there is a possibility that players will have to wait until Season 5 to access the Gunfight variant.
