Modern Warfare 3 players have recently been asking the developers to bring back iconic game modes that have been missing from Call of Duty games for the past few years.
When it comes to playing Call of Duty multiplayer, everyone has their favorite modes. Some are fans of Team Deathmatch, while others are dedicated solely to Search & Destroy, and you will always find some fans of spawn kill in Domination.
Over the years, the multiplayer side of CoD has expanded considerably beyond these selections, with developers beginning to rotate playlists on a weekly basis. This has caused some inconvenience for players, especially when popular modes disappear without any prior notice.
But for a while now, many fans have been campaigning for the return of certain festive modes.
CoD players want party modes to return in Modern Warfare 3
If you’re missing modes like Chameleon, Rocks & Sticks, and even Infected, know that you’re not alone. Many CoD players have recently been urging the developers to bring back a few of these modes, in order to give Modern Warfare 3 a little more variety for casual players.
“Chameleon is one of my favorite modes, but I have to download WW2 to play it or Cold War. Please bring him back, I know I’m not alone in this!” says one fan, who encouraged others to support his appeal.

“Chameleon was amazing. I hope the next CoD makes better use of it,” said another. “I miss Chameleon,” adds another. “Rocks & Sticks!!!!” commented another. “Double Agent was amazing too.”
It’s hard to say if these party modes will be added back at some point, but since Black Ops Cold War launched in 2020, the wait is starting to get long.
