MW3 Players Demand Clarification from Developers About Missing Attachments

Fans of Modern Warfare 3 are demanding explanations from the developers regarding the absence of various attachments and equipment that were featured in Modern Warfare 2.

In recent years, as Warzone has gained popularity, different titles within the Call of Duty franchise have merged into a singular experience. Players have been able to utilize weapons from older games in the newer releases, even if those weapons are perceived to be underpowered.

This trend continues with Modern Warfare 3, where numerous guns and items from the previous installment — Modern Warfare 2 — have been integrated into the current game.

As the cycle of MW3 approaches its conclusion and with Black Ops 6 on the horizon, players are urging the developers to clarify why certain attachments and equipment from the earlier title “never returned” in the latest iteration.

“Now that the game’s almost over – where the f*ck did it go?” posed one Reddit user regarding the 60-round magazine for the M13C. “Any word on this?” they inquired, tagging Sledgehammer Games in their post.

“They did this to a lot of guns. For example, they limited the ISO Hemlock. 300 rounds to just a few variants of them now,” another user commented.

“This and Alejandro’s mask. They will never give them back,” lamented another frustrated fan. “And the damn deployable cover never returned,” a different user added.

Another community member noted that many more items have disappeared. “This and the Kastov 545 Orbiter blueprint, along with most of the underbarrel launchers. Drills and HE, that’s all we have now. No more stun, smoke, or snapshot,” they expressed.

While it’s clear that developers have their reasons for omitting certain features between games, the lack of clear communication is what fuels community frustration. Whether players will receive the answers they are seeking remains uncertain.
