The Call of Duty blog has officially announced all of the events that will take place during MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. Below are the upcoming events that will occur following the mid-season update.

Season 4 Reloaded events Dates
Retro Warfare June 26 – July 3
Altered Strain June 26 – July 24
Vacation Squad July 3 – July 10

Retro Warfare draws inspiration from the 8-bit theme of the new MW3 Bit Party playlist. Participants will aim to acquire the maximum amount of XP in order to unlock ten complimentary rewards.

The Altered Strain event is connected to MW3’s Mutation and Warzone’s Resurgence and Buy Back Mutation modes. During this event, players can gather altered DNA samples from defeated foes and Loot Caches (WZ) to earn 19 unique rewards. As players advance through the event, they will unlock new effects for the MW3 Mutation mode.

According to the CoD blog, Vacation Squad is centered around the summertime break. The event will offer opportunities to complete challenges and receive seven “tropical rewards.”

Lastly, Vortex: Death’s Grip brings back the Vortex playlist in MW3 multiplayer, now featuring the addition of the new map Das Gross to the existing roster. The event will also include challenges that players must complete in order to unlock ten rewards.

Double XP Weekends are great for leveling up in each game.

In addition to the weekly or multi-week events that offer free rewards, MW3 and Warzone also hold special events that provide players with other bonuses such as Double XP Weekends. These events are designed to help players level up their weapons, Battle Pass, and rank XP more quickly.

Despite not functioning like typical in-game events, players are able to participate in MW3 multiplayer for no cost during the free access trial periods. These trials typically occur once per season and offer players the opportunity to test out the new seasonal content, various classic modes and maps, and also have complete access to MW3’s Zombies mode.

As of now, the developers have not disclosed any plans for additional events such as Double XP Weekends. However, we will keep this piece updated if any new information is released.

If you want to make the most of your event progress, make sure to utilize the top guns, controller, and audio settings. This will help you unlock all the event rewards in the game with ease.
