On July 30, both MW3 and Warzone received a recent update that included various weapon buffs and nerfs. The Superi 46, which had previously been nerfed in the Season 5 update, saw yet another decrease that could potentially affect its standing in the meta.
The development team has made changes to the MW3 Interstellar progression challenges to make the process easier. Additionally, the Quartermaster Suppressor restriction in MW3 Ranked Play has been updated. The full patch notes can be found below.

- Pressing Learn More in the Store will no longer return to the previous menu.
- Placeholder splash is no longer displayed after unlocking the JAK Decimator Kit.
- Corrected the icon displayed for the Havoc mode.
- Removed redundant terminology in splashes for Hardcore mode names.
Progression
- The Interstellar Mastery challenge completion targets for the STG44 and Static-HV Weapons have been reduced from 500 to 400 Operator Kills.

- Slam Deathmatch
- Downs count will no longer always be 0 in the After Action Report.

Submachine Guns are compact, lightweight firearms that are known for their high rate of fire and relatively short range.

- Bruen Heavy Support Grip Underbarrel Attachment is no longer able to be equipped without a compatible Barrel.

BUG FIXES
- Addressed a problem where players were unable to view the scoreboard or stats tab upon opening the Tac-Map.
- An issue that was preventing the third Warzone Rewards Mobility challenge (which involves visiting 5 unique POIs in a single match) from tracking correctly has been resolved.
- An issue that was causing the Warzone Rewards submenu to not update correctly after a player finished the Resurgence Champion’s Quest challenge has been resolved.
- Resolved a problem that was preventing players from successfully activating the armory unlocks for tactical and lethal equipment.
With the recent nerf to the popular Superi 46, other guns such as the Static-HV and AMR9 may have a chance to rise and claim the top spot in the close-range meta for Season 5.
