Season 5 for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 is finally here, and it’s bringing the highly-anticipated WWE crossover. Fans can look forward to the SummerSlam event, where they can earn exclusive rewards with a wrestling-inspired theme.
After the Season 4 Fallout event, this collaboration introduces popular superstars such as Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes to the game, as well as the brand new Slam Deathmatch mode. Additionally, the developers have announced a special in-game event that offers a multitude of free rewards.
MW3 & Warzone x WWE SummerSlam Event Release Date
The anticipated WWE SummerSlam event is set to take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, which is one week after the release of the MW3 and Warzone Season 5 update. This means that you will have a limited time of seven days, until Wednesday, August 7, to complete all challenges and earn rewards before the event concludes.
The blog post shared by the developers announcing the collaboration confirmed this, meaning that if you want to unlock everything, you will need to act quickly.

WWE SummerSlam event explained
At the WWE SummerSlam event, you will have the opportunity to complete a series of challenges and earn free theme rewards. These objectives will have different versions for MW3 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, allowing you to participate in any mode of your choice.
The specific challenges for the upcoming event have not yet been confirmed, but we anticipate that some of them will focus on the recently introduced Slam Deathmatch. This new version of TDM brings a whole new dynamic to Call of Duty, requiring players to perform flashy finishing moves in order to eliminate downed opponents in a ring-like setting.
In previous instances, certain in-game occurrences have granted the opportunity to earn complimentary rewards through XP accumulation. However, the recent announcement post specifically highlights that SummerSlam will center on “fulfilling challenges across all game modes.”
WWE Event Reward in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
The specific rewards for the upcoming WWE event have not been announced yet, however, completing all challenges will earn players a new Operator skin. The identity of this skin is still unknown, but it is expected to be either a WWE wrestler or a modified version of an existing character.
