Modern Warfare 3’s Season 1 Reloaded update brought major changes to every aspect of the game, including a significant upgrade of a grenade that was previously little used.
The Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded update has finally arrived, introducing a notable amount of content that players can explore now while waiting for season 2 to arrive.
While adding content is always something to appreciate, many players have looked into the balance changes to weapons and accessories.
And discreetly, hidden at the bottom of the patch note, a major change has been spotted by some fans to one of the game’s least used deadly grenades.
MW3 Reloaded Update has significantly improved the Thermobaric Grenade
The Thermobaric Grenade, a recurring deadly piece of equipment in the Call of Duty franchise, acts like a powerful Molotov cocktail. Players can prepare and throw it, and it will explode on contact while leaving flammable residue. Additionally, when a player is hit, they will also take increased explosive damage.
As it stands, the Thermobaric Grenade is probably one of the least powerful lethal grenades in MW3.
However, Update Reload is set to change that as this gear has had its minimum explosive damage increased by 200%, from 25 to 75 damage.
It will likely be a while before players become aware of this change to the Thermobaric Grenade, so be sure to get ahead of your opponents by equipping it now.
