My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 3: Torako embarrasses herself as the Deer Club keeps growing

The third episode of My Deer Friend Nokotan, titled “Bashame Enrolls,”was released on July 21, 2024. This installment introduces a new member to the Deer Club after Torako befriends a deer. The episode’s climax features each member sharing their aspirations for their time in the club.

The previous installment focused on the introduction of Anko, Torako’s sister, and the rivalry between her and Shikanoko for Torako’s affections. The competition ultimately resulted in a tie, followed by an uncomfortable moment where Nokotan was denied entry into heaven and revived on Earth.

My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 3: Torako’s Battle Against a Deer

Upon entering the clubroom in episode 3 of My Deer Friend Nokotan, Torako was met with the sight of a deer munching on the club’s rations, also known as deer crackers. After closely watching the animal, she suspected that it might actually be Nokotan in disguise, attempting to trick her.

Despite trying multiple schemes to remove the disguise, the deer continued to kick her each time. As a last resort, Torako pulled out a book containing her past delinquent secrets. The deer reacted, confirming to Torako that it was indeed Nokotan. She proceeded to read some of her secrets and eventually began singing a song.

The song was incredibly embarrassing as it showcased Torako’s awkward dance moves. As she finished her performance, Nokotan suddenly appeared from behind her and exposed the fact that the deer was actually a runaway from the zoo. Torako was filled with embarrassment and Nokotan insisted that she sing her song once more.

Nokotan: The Deer Club Welcomes a New Member

Upon shifting to the next day, Nokotan and Torako made their way towards their clubroom in episode 3 of My Deer Friend Nokotan. To their surprise, they found a junior sleeping at the entrance. As she woke up, she gushed over Nokotan and revealed herself to be a big fan, introducing herself as Bashame.

Torako was surprised by the fact that someone could admire Nokotan. Bashame shared that on orientation day, Nokotan had kindly offered her deer crackers, which made her feel grateful towards Nokotan. In episode 3 of My Deer Friend Nokotan, Nokotan took Bashame as her apprentice and worked hard to train her as a deer.

Episode 3: The Future of the Deer Club

The following day, Torako excitedly entered the clubroom, eager to make the most of the newly acquired minimum funds for her club. However, upon arriving, she was disheartened to find everyone lounging about. Undeterred, she proceeded to organize the club’s inaugural meeting, during which she inquired about each member’s aspirations as a part of the Deer Club.

Nokotan’s revelation that she wanted to bathe in deer crackers angered Torako. Despite her attempt to change the subject to Bashame, Torako continued to eat rice and shared her own goal of planting rice in a field, hoping to eventually attract deer.

Torako, feeling let down, repeated her question to her sister. Initially, her sister replied that she wanted to assist her in her daily tasks, but her intentions quickly turned to darker thoughts. The third episode of My Deer Friend Nokotan concluded with Nokotan and Bashame asking Torako to brush their hair while Anko attempted to transform into a deer as well.
