The installment continued the story of Torako and Nokotan as they faced off against Anko, Torako’s sister. The episode started with Torako arriving at her school earlier than usual. She had a plan to revamp the Deer Clubroom, so she brought in new sofas, pictures, and other decorations. Later in the day, she stopped by the clubroom for a tea break and was shocked to find the entire room in ruins.

Despite Torako’s assumption that Nokotan was responsible, it was actually someone else who urged Nokotan out of the clubroom with a deer cracker. Despite Torako’s efforts to prevent it, Nokotan ultimately fell into a trap outside. Nokotan had initially been sitting in one corner of the room, instructing Torako to hide.

Upon being caught, a girl with purple hair appeared in the series. She was revealed to be Anko Koshi, Torako’s younger sister. Anko accused Nokotan of taking Torako and demanded an explanation. The dispute was resolved with Nokotan and Anko participating in a questionnaire quiz.

The setting was arranged, and Anko and Nokotan were in their designated seats. The teacher from Torako’s class served as the questionnaire’s conductor. The initial question focused on Torako’s personal life, causing her to worry about more than just her dignity during the competition.

As the questions continued, they delved deeper into Torako’s personal life, leaving her puzzled about how they had acquired such intimate knowledge. Before she knew it, the sun had set and both contestants were tied. Anko felt frustrated as she couldn’t fathom how anyone besides herself could be privy to her sister’s personal details.

Anko became increasingly frustrated with the tied scores and decided to activate the kunai arrows that were aimed at Nokotan. However, to Anko’s surprise, Nokotan managed to skillfully dodge all of the kunai arrows, further fueling Anko’s determination. As Torako reached her breaking point and prepared to leave, Anko resorted to manually throwing kunai arrows at Nokotan.

As Nokotan skillfully dodged Anko’s final kunai arrow, it flew towards Torako. Frantically, Anko cried out for assistance, not wanting to harm her own sister. In a brave move, Nokotan leapt in front of Torako and took the kunai arrow directly in her chest. Despite the desperate pleas of those around her, Nokotan tragically passed away on the spot. Eventually, a group of heavenly deer angels carried her soul up into the sky.

Regrettably, the Deer God rejected Nokotan’s soul, causing it to be returned to her body. Upon awakening, she revealed that she had luckily kept a deer cracker near her chest, which protected her from the impact of the kunai arrow.

Despite Torako’s confusion, it made no sense that the deer crackers, known for their brittleness, were able to absorb the impact of a kunai arrow. Regardless, My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 2 concluded with Anko apologizing to Nokotan for her mistake, leading the two to become friends.
