What is the Story About

Gojo, a high school student who is completely unaware of the actions of his peers, is the protagonist of the story. His path intersects with that of Marin’s when he accidentally discovers one of her hidden truths, leading them on a joint journey.

The story is described by Crunchyroll as-

Wakana Gojo is a high school student with a strong passion for becoming a kashirashi, a master craftsman known for creating traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Despite his enthusiasm for the craft, he struggles to keep up with the latest trends and feels like an outsider in his class. The popular students, particularly Marin Kitagawa, seem to belong to a different realm altogether.

Information About My Dress-Up Darling

My Dress-Up Darling, a manga series created by Shinichi Fukuda, was first published in January 2018 in Square Enix’s Young Gangan. As of April 2021, the series has been compiled into seven volumes. An anime adaptation of the series has been confirmed.

Wakana Gojou, a doll-artisan hopeful, has been a loner ever since a traumatic incident in his childhood. To him, people like Marin Kitagawa, a stylish girl, seem like they are from a completely different world.

However, when bubbly Marin, who was never known to be reserved, catches sight of Wakana sewing one day after school, she boldly interrupts with the intention of involving her introverted classmate in her hidden passion: cosplay!

Will Wakana be able to handle the invasion from this seductive alien with her wounded heart?!
