My Happy Marriage Reveals New Visuals and Confirms Season 2 Premiere Date on Netflix

Netflix has officially revealed the global streaming release date for My Happy Marriage Season 2. This popular anime has also shared a new promotional visual, along with details about its opening and ending themes.

As Netflix continues to expand its content library, it has become a primary destination for anime enthusiasts around the world. The streaming platform has secured a range of highly anticipated titles for 2024, further solidifying its role in the industry.

During a recent fan event in Japan, the series’ official X/Twitter account announced that Season 2 will premiere on January 6, 2025. In addition to Netflix, the series will also be available for streaming on various platforms, including Crunchyroll in the United States.

The narrative centers around Miyo Saitori, who is born into an esteemed magical family in an alternate Japan but is unfortunately devoid of magical powers. After enduring years of mistreatment from her stepmother, Miyo finds herself engaged to the cold-hearted commander Kiyoka Kudō. Having witnessed the escape of previous fiancés, Miyo braces for what seems to be an even darker future, only to discover that Kiyoka may not be the monster she assumed.

Fresh Visual Release of Miyo and Kiyoka

My Happy Marriage originally began as a series on the platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō! before being published by Fijimi Shobo in Japan. The light novels, beautifully illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, caught the attention of Yen Press for English releases, while the manga was published by Square Enix. The franchise has even explored other formats, including a live-action film that debuted in Japan in March 2023.

Fans eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story won’t have to wait much longer. The show’s X/Twitter account shared a stunning new visual featuring Miyo and Kiyoka beneath a wisteria bloom, with Miyo in her traditional kimono and Kiyoka in a military uniform. You can view this visual below:
