My Hero Academia: Chapter 420 Review
The latest installment of My Hero Academia, chapter 420, opened with Aizawa, Present Mic, and Kurogiri being transported to a small island near the Japanese coast. Upon arriving, Mic immediately launched an attack on Kurogiri, but halted when he noticed the latter shedding tears. Mic and Aizawa went on to discuss the Tartarus incident, acknowledging that while Kurogiri can never fully return to being Shirakumo, the two identities are merging. To their surprise, Kurogiri stood up and called out Mic’s name, with a glimpse of Shirakumo’s face reappearing.
After contacting Tsukauchi, Aizawa inquired about Monoma’s ability to participate in the fight. Upon discovering that Monoma was unable to fight, Aizawa headed to the U.A. shelter to gather heroes to assist Deku in his battle. The scene then shifted to the Takoba arena, where numerous students from Class 1-A and Class 1-B were engaged in a fierce battle against a villain known as Gashly. The focus then reverted back to the present, as multiple Warp Gates suddenly appeared all around All For One.
When Aizawa reached Deku, he inquired about the amount of time that had passed since he lost his arms. He then exposed Eri’s horn, and a quick flashback revealed that she had intentionally cut it off because she was prohibited from participating in the battle but still wanted to assist someone. Aizawa proceeded to use the horn to stab Deku, resulting in the regeneration of his arms. The chapter concluded with the present arrival of various U.A. students and heroes, such as Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Mineta, Koda, and Shoji.
My Hero Academia Chapter 421 Predictions and Theories
In My Hero Academia chapter 421, it is expected that all those who came to support Deku will join forces to overpower and keep All For One occupied. Their objective is likely to be disclosed as relying on Rewind to restore Deku’s Quirks and keeping TomurAFO occupied until Deku can return to the battle.
With that being said, it is highly likely that chapter 421 will confirm the need for sacrifices in order to gain time against All For One and potentially defeat him. It is possible that a random Pro Hero will be the one to make the sacrifice, but Deku may also witness one of his classmates and close friends suffer severe injuries or even worse consequences.
