My Hero Academia: How Himiko Toga’s Potential as a Hero Could Have Benefited the Hero Society

Despite her initial appearance as a versatile and dangerous villain in My Hero Academia, Himiko Toga’s quirk proved to be even more formidable after its awakening. However, some fans wonder if she would have reached the same level of prowess if she had been a hero from the beginning of the series.

Toga’s quirk is comparable to that of Monoma from Class 1-B, as she is able to copy the quirks of others in her awakened form. However, this ability is limited to those she holds dear. Additionally, she possesses the unique ability to transform into an exact duplicate of someone by consuming their blood. This makes her a potentially effective spy hero, much like Hawks.

Himiko Toga was initially a member of Tomura Shigaraki’s League of Villains before rising to the rank of lieutenant in the Paranormal Liberation Front. Her sadistic nature is apparent in her fascination with boys who lead chaotic lives.

Her Transform quirk enables her to take on the appearance of anyone, but she can only do so by consuming their blood, as she has demonstrated multiple times throughout the series.

In the Forest Training Camp arc of My Hero Academia, Toga pinned down Uraraka and managed to extract some of her blood. Later, during the Provisional Hero License Exam Arc, she attempted to imitate Uraraka using the stolen blood in an effort to defeat Deku. However, Deku was on guard and successfully avoided her attack.

During the Meta Liberation Army arc, Toga’s quirk was awakened during her battle against Mr Curious. With this newfound power, she was able to copy the abilities of those whose blood she had ingested. Utilizing Uraraka’s gravity quirk, she was able to defeat Mr Curious and emerge victorious. It should be noted that her quirk can only copy the abilities of those she holds close to her heart, such as Uraraka and Twice with his Sad Man’s Parade quirk.

Himiko Toga’s versatile and diverse quirk could make her an excellent candidate for the hero society and potentially even rank among the top 3 heroes. If this were a possibility at the beginning of the series, what type of hero would she have become?

Toga may possess the abilities and skills of a spy or an assassin. She could also potentially be a vigilante hero, utilizing her expertise in eliminating villains like the infamous Hero Killer, Stain. Despite not seeming like the type to fight for others, it is possible that she could operate in secret, targeting and battling against evildoers without revealing her true identity as a hero.

Toga has the potential to become a spy hero, much like Hawks. While Hawks was a spy working for a different association, Toga could fulfill the role of a dedicated spy tasked with gathering intelligence on the villain from various sources. Her unique quirk would allow her to seamlessly blend in with the villains.

Additionally, her expertise in Tantōjutsu, the art of knife combat, further solidifies her role as a spy or assassin hero. Therefore, she would have been a valuable addition to the Hero Society of My Hero Academia, as there is currently no hero with her unique skill set. Had she been a member, she would have undoubtedly been highly regarded and appreciated by the society.
